Commissioning Services

Box has been retained for commissioning services on two new Greenfield cement plants n the U.S. Commissioning is underway at Continental’s plant in Hannibal, Missouri and the second plant located in Festus and is expected to begin commissioning in the winter of 2009.

Training

Box International completed an intensive hands-on training program, consisting of individualized testing and training of each control room operator to identify priorities by each control room operator during actual operations.  The goal of the client was to increase operator confidence, improve overall clinker quality, to increase clinker production, improve plant production efficiencies and to maintain and improve upon overall plant safety.

As a result of this enhancement program, the client’s objectives were met, and importantly, an annualized increase of 10% of clinker production from the plant will be achieved resulting in an increase in cement sales revenue of over one million dollars per month, with an overall increase in plant efficiency as well.

Requests for Cement Supply

Box has recently been requested to source large volumes of cement and clinker on behalf of a large client for sale in various Middle Eastern, North and West African markets.  All transportation and delivery logistics are currently being considered at this time in order to best rationalize the supply of cement to these markets.
